Running

[Aran]

Aran darted as fast as she could, dragging her injured hind leg behind her. She had been attacked by a wildcat when she tried to take shelter from a blizzard, and was now trying to get a quickly though the forest as possible. She knew that this area belonged to a tribe, and didn't want any sort of trouble. Aran constantly was looking around and sniffing the air for signs of any members of the tribe. "Hopefully they are a very forgiving tribe."[/b]

[Mike]

((What kind of animal is Aran? I'm too lazy to go look XD))

[snowstorm]

Risingfind was just walking around, ensuring all was well in the Howling Tribe area when she caught the scent of an artic fox. She snarled and darted after the scent, and when the creature came into view Risingfind relaxed and watched how she dragged her leg. She walked out from the tree's and stood tall.
"I am Risingfind, Leader of Howling Tribe. What is your reason for being on our land?" she asked as kind as she could without letting her guard down, although she was sure this fox couldn't hurt her, especially with how her leg looked.

[Aran]

((She's a fox))
Aran stopped dead in her tracks as she saw the wolf emerge, and bent her head low. "I apologize for intruding on your land, I am just trying to get away from someone. I believe he has stopped following me. I will leave as quickly as possible." She did not move, knowing it was rude and offensive to leave without the acknowledgement of the tribe leader.

[Mike]

A deep, rough voice sounded from behind her. "And who was chasing you?" Another wolf, black as night except for his tribal markings, emerged into the snow. It was clear that he had been with Risingfind but had circled around behind in case the fox was trouble. "I want to know if our tribe is in danger." The wolf didn't bother giving his name or rank, but stared at the arctic fox.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind gave a soft growl to silence the other wolf.
"Let the fox speak." she said softly and she smiled warmly at the fox. "Howling Tribe isn't harmful towards other animals. We get along with all." she began.
"Now relax and tell me your story, this animal who was chasing you may be trouble and I'll need information."

[Mike]

Eagletalon was a bit miffed about being silenced. Howling tribe might get along with all animals, but that didn't mean that they trusted them completely. Too many incidents stemmed from others being in their territory, and Eagletalon didn't want the same thing to happen again, especially now that he had two cubs to worry about.

[Dogsrock!!]

Flintstone emerged out of the bushes, a growl rising in his throat as he spotted the fox. "Joking Tribe?" he asked, his voice monotone but lower than usual. No markings, but she could have washed them off. You never knew what that tribe might do..................

[snowstorm]

Risingfind growled under her breathe.
She could feel Eagletalon's annoyance, and she just wanted to get this over with to get home to their pups.
"What are you doing on Howling Tribe Territory without authorization." she growled starting to get annoyed with everyone coming over.

[Mike]

Eagletalon shot Flinstone a look that said 'Shut up, go back to camp, and let us handle this.' He returned his attention to the wounded fox. She seemed so small and weak. It was hard to think of her as a threat.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind looked over her shoulder at Eagletalon and Flinstone.
"Both of you, leave now." she demanded. She had a feeling the reason the fox wasn't saying anything was due to the fact that they looked threatening.
"Eagletalon," she said her voice softening. "Go check on Frostcub and Skycub tell them I will be back soon." then she turned her full attention back to the fox.

[Mike]

Eagletalon snorted and turned to leave. Then he was gone, as if he had never been there in the first place. Only his scent and his pawprints remained. After he had gone, there was a 'crack' and a yelp. A small white wolf cub tumbled to the ground in front of his mother.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind eyed the cub warily the sighed.
"Skycub." she said calmly trying not to laugh at his interesting entrance. "What on earth are you doing."

Frostcub ran out behind her brother then stopped dead when she saw her mother.
'Uh-oh' she said under her breathe quickly checking for their father, he would definately crack the whip. "Uh hey mom." she said quietly not even noticing the fox, until she looked around for her dad. She quickly moved beside her mom and stared at the fox. "What is it?"

[Mike]

"We were just coming to look for you." said Skycub. He turned his head to one side and gave her the cute-innocent-little-one look and grinned happily, wagging his tail. "I tracked you and dad out here."

[snowstorm]

Risingfind stepped infront of the cubs eyeing the fox.
"Stay behind me alright." she told them, then she howled hoping it would catch Eagletalon's notice.
Then she focused on the fox again.

Frostcub watched how her mother handled the weird animal infront of them, then when her mother took a protective step forward she got worried.
"Mama, where's dad?" she asked shyly scared to move or stop looking at the other animal incase it came at her.

[Mike]

Eagletalon heard her howl and kept running, but leaped and pushed off a tree so his momentum was reversed and he was running back towards where he had left his mate without stopping or slowing down.

Skycub took a step closer to his mother when she howled. He winced. "Do you have to be so loud mom?"

[Aran]

Aran was very quiet, trying to hide the sharp pain that ran up her leg. "I was running from a wildcat. I accidently bumped into it when i was taking shelter from a blizzard. I really don't want to be any trouble, and I am a part of no tribe." She shrank back, her eyes getting blurry. She was losing to much blood. She spoke weakly. "Is there anything else you wish to ask me, or should i be on my way?"

[snowstorm]

Risingfind took pitty on the wolf and listened intently for Eagletalon. Then she looked down at the cubs and looked stern.
"Stay in this spot till your father gets here." she looked at them both intensly letting the message sink in then she walked over to the fox.
"Come with me, we should fix up that leg. You can repay us later."

Frostcub grumbled under her breathe at her mothers orders and she kept her eyes on her mothers retreating figure, she looked at Skycub and rolled her eyes.
"We never get any fun." she muttered to him.

[Aran]

Aran nodded, then stood again and followed Risingfind. "Thank you for your help." She said quietly.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind stood beside Aran. She kept her pups on her other side as they headed towards the tribe camp. A rustling behind then had her turning around and growling.
