Running

[Aran]

Aran turned quickly to, and tried to hide the fact she was injured. She really hoped that it wasnt the wildcat. Her vision became dark and she stumbled and fell to the ground.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind quickly glanced at the fox. It took her the all of two seconds to get the wolf on her back. She howled louder a singnal for all of Howling Tribe to be on their guard.
"Skycub, Frostcub get out of here go now!" she howled. "Get back to the camp, go to the den and STAY there! Don't come out for ANYTHING." She nudged the cubs forward quickly knowing they would find their way.

Skycub and Frostcub stared at their mother after hearing the rustling then she was howling and yelling at them. Frostcub detected the danger first and quickly helped her brother get out of there. She knew they were in danger and she quickly lead the way home.


ooc: sorry Kiba.. I sorta added Sky in.. I don't really want him hanging around cause I think we will make it the wildcat.

[Aran]

((Oh yay I like kitties! Are you going to control the wildcat, or should I?))
Aran picked up the scent of something with her blood on it. "I think we are going to have to deal with a very grumpy kitty soon." She said softly.

[snowstorm]

ooc : we both can its more fun that way.

Risingfind stood infront of the fox and the direction her cubs had ran off in. She was going to protect them. She caught the scent of something with the foxes blood on it and she growled almost protectivly.
"Show yourself cat." she howled. The wildcat emerged from the tall grass and she got into a defensive crouch. "What do you want here?"

The wildcat stalked out of her hiding place in the grass when the wold addressed her. She listened to the wolf and roled her eyes.
"I came to get what belongs to me. I came to finnish my lunch." she hissed glaring at the fox. She watched the wolf get ready to spring and she hissed loudly and warningly.
"She isn't part of your tribe dog why try to protect her."

[Aran]

Aran growled. "Dog?" She snapped in a low voice. "You shouldn't address the leader of a tribe in that manner."

The wildcat smirked. "And just what, my little morsel of food, are you going to do about it?" Aran growled, and, mustering all her strength, leaped at the wildcat and clamped hard on its tail. If i survive, It's going to be really hard to get all that fur out of my mouth." She though as she continued to bite down as the wildcat slammed Aran against a tree.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind would not accept this on her tribe's land. She lunged at the cat and took it down in seconds. She got ahold of its neck and snapped it quickly one way. She backed away as the cat lay motionless. Risingfind breathed deeply and took a quick look at her stomach where the cat had clawed her. It was bleeding pretty badly, but she had delt with worse. She looked at the fox and quickly threw her on her back and ran towards Howling Tribe Camp.

[Aran]

Aran lay unconscious from the severe head trauma from the wildcat on Risingfind's back, breathing roughly.

[Mike]

A massively loud howl exploded from ahead of them. Something dangerous had just happened. Eagletalon had smelled Risingfind's blood. When that happened, he ran even faster until he found them. He growled. She was dripping blood as she ran. He took the fox off her back and put it on his own. "Are you all right?" he growled.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind nodded keeping her head straight. She didn't think of her pain she was focused on the fox.
"Get her back to camp. Where are the cubs?" she asked worridly.

[Mike]

"The cubs?" Eagletalon's face betrayed a look of confusion. He didn't know that the cubs were out. He'd gone in a different direction than straight back to camp. He'd wanted to check the border

[snowstorm]

Risingfind gasped and bolted in the direction the cubs had run off in. she began to panic, a feeling that something bad was going to happen.

[Mike]

Eagletalon took off after his mate and cubs. The fox was nothing. He ran as if she wasn't even on his back.

[snowstorm]

Frostcub stumbled as she ran back to the camp and twisted her ankle.
"Keep going Sky!" she yelled at him. She looked at her paw and ankle but shook it off and tried to stand she yelped in pain and fell back to the forest floor.
"Mama!" she howled.

Risingfind heard the yelp and howl of her daughter.
"Frostcub!" she howled taking off in the direction she heard the noises come from. She ran as hard as she could not daring to stop. She was losing a lot of blood but that didn't matter to her, her pups needed her, she needed to get to them.

[Mike]

Eagletalon's great speed enabled him to pass his mate and continue to find his daughter whimpering in pain. He dumped the fox from his back and bent down to look at her. "Are you all right?" he asked worriedly. Sky hadn't moved, but stayed by his sister's side.

[Aran]

Aran tumbled onto the ground, groaning. She opened her eyes to see the wolves. "Huh? What happened- did your tribe leader already kill the wildcat?" She smelt wolf blood, and panicked. "Is someone hurt!?" She looked at the fallen cub, immediately noticing the twisted ankle. "If you make a splint out of some twigs, you should be able to walk. Keep it together with some kind of grass or something like a rop-" She stopped short as another wave of pain hit and fainted.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind got to the cubs just moments after Eagletalon.
"Oh Frostcub." she gasped licking her daughter head. "I was so worried. Lets get you back to camp." she heard the fox fall over again and looked at Eagletalon.
"If you can carry the fox I will carry Frost." she said then she looked at Skycub. "My brave little boy." she smiled at him and picked both frost and Sky up in her muzzle and began to run back towards camp. She winced slightly as a twig scratched into her wounds but ignored it and kept running.

Frostpaw looked at her father and sighed. He was alright, she noticed the fox from earlier and he dropped her and came to Frostcub.
"Daddy." she said as he came over to him. "I'm fine." she lied betraying no emotion. She watched her mother run in and quickly saw the big wound on her stomach. She gasped. She listened to her mother bark orders and soothe her and her brother. Then just as quickly her mother picked up both her and her brother and was running again. She felt her mother wince but when she looked up at her mothers face she betrayed no emotions and it unsettled Frostcub very much.

[Aran]

Aran stood up weakly. "I-Its okay, I can run with you." She was thankful that the blood had finally dried, and ran after Risingfind, close behind her. She tried to ignore the throbbing pain all over her body.

[Mike]

Eagletalon put no effort into trying to remain quiet. It sounded like a hurricane was travelling through the woods. His coming warned the wolves at the camp that something was up, for they knew he only travelled like that in an emergency. Skycub dangled from his mother's mouth and sighed inwardly. Why do I have to be carried like some newborn?

[Aran]

Aran slightly smiled as she saw the annoyed look on the cub. He probably thinks he's being treated like he's much younger. She thought. Many pups and cubs were like that.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind's vision was turning red but she pushed herself further. She didn't see the log infront of her though and fell. The cubs were dropped from her mouth and rolled a few feet infront of her. She went to stand but her legs began to shake.
"Eagletalon." she said quietly tears burning her eyes. She fell onto her side and her eyes closed, the only thing she saw was black, the last thing she heard was Frostcub calling to her.

Frostcub rolled a few feet from her mother, she quickly stood and ran to her mother, her ankle not bugging her anymore.
"Mamma!" she howled licking her ear, "Are you okay? Mamma wake up!" she cried putting her paws on her mothers neck. "Dad!"
