Running

[Aran]

Aran saw Risingfind collapse and stopped immediately turned around and went to her side. The wound was deep, and bleeding heavily. It was already beginning to get infected, and if something want done, she would probably die. She turned to Frostcub. "We need to stop the bleeding." She looked around and picked up some herbs and a large patch of moss. She applies the herbs against the wound and then the moss, then pressed against it with her paws. "Go get your father." She told Frostcub. "This won't stop the bleeding forever. I need to get an her an herb that will help her blood clot, but I don't see any around here."

[Mike]

"Get your paws off her." Eagletalon's voice was rough and unyeilding. "I need to get her home. Skycub, get back to camp and warn everybody what's going on. Frostcub, you go with him." Eagletalon did what he had done so many times, gotten his mate onto his back and started carrying her home.

[Aran]

"Stop it!" Aran yelled as she ran next to him "That wound is bad! It'll only get worse if you move her! A-At least wait for it to clot, then it will stop and it'll be safer!" Aran made sure she was far enough away from him, because he was very worried she could tell. With a quick move, she would be killed if he wanted it.

[Mike]

"Why are you still here?" growled the black wolf. "I know what I'm doing. We're not that far from home. I've done this so many times its not funny. You wouldn't believe how much she hurts herself." He smiled in spite of himself. "I keep the wound towards the ground so all her weight is pressing it against me. That slows the bleeding well.'

[Aran]

"I'm still here, because she told me to follow her. I'm not leaving until she says i can." Aran retorted.

[Mike]

"Yeah, well I'm her second in command, and if I say you go, then you go before the tribe rips you apart before I can stop them, even if I wanted to."

[snowstorm]

Risingfind woke up a bit and growled softly at Eagletalon.
"This fox, she stays. The tribe asks, I authorized it. No one is to bug her. I wish to speak with her." she nuzzled him as best she could. "Trust me." she whispered in his ear.
"Aran keep running." she said hoping she could hear.
"Eagletalon I'm sorry about this. Have I told you I love you?" she asked trying to be funny. He was probably used to her "accidents" by now.

Frostcub ran to the tribe.
"Mama's hurt!" she howled, knowing no one had to ask who she ment when she said Mama. She ran quickly to the medicine den, she knew a little bit about it thanks to star eyes.

[Mike]

"YOu know the tribe. They won't wait for us to say anything before they attack." returned Eagletalon. "And yes, I do know that you love me. So hang in there, for me and the cubs."

Skycub had a good grip on the situation. "There's a fox with her, but don't attack. She doesn't want us to."

[snowstorm]

Risingfind nodded.
"I've always held on for you. And I always will." she murmured. "Besides I can't leave you alone with the pups they'll get spoiled." she laughed wincing slightly at the pain. "You'll have to take a swim later get the blood off." she muttered to herself feeling bad. This wasn't the first time. She had been very clutsy lately, probably because she had so much on her mind. But the love of her life was always there for her.

Frostcub looked at her brother. She hadn't wanted to mention the fox, she had a feeling her father was trying to get rid of it but she shook her head.
"Mama says she needs to speak with her." she said. She looked at the herbs at her paws and hoped they were right.

[Mike]

"We'll take that swim together, once you're fixed up....again. You really need to watch what you're doing. We can't keep saving you like this."

[snowstorm]

Risingfind laughed quietly to herself.
"I would have been fine if that log hadn't gotten in my way." she said mostly to herself.
"Besides I'm fine really. It doesnt even hurt."

[Mike]

"You know, you always say that. and usually, its worse than you let on." Eagletalon grinned in spite of himself.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind laughed.
"It's fine really. My feelings are being hurt though with you teasing me." she said nipping his ear playfully. She smiled, she could always be herself with him. Thats why she loved him so much.
"Aran how are you doing?" she asked looking back as best she could.

[Mike]

"Aww...I didn't mean to hurt your feelings and its hard enough to concentrate on running with you up there without you biting my ear."

[snowstorm]

"Then maybe you should put me down." Risingfind said slyly. She laughed.

[Mike]

"And let you die from blood loss? I'd rather chuck myself off of a cliff. Well...I think I did do that once, or was that one the rockslide? I forget."

[snowstorm]

"That" Risingfind growled at the memory. "Was the rockslide."
She hated that day more than any of her accidents. But at the same time it was a good memory. The first time Eagletalon told her he loved her, but the day he almost died. She understood his reason for trying to save the other animal but she couldn't forgive it. She almost lost the one who ment everything to her.

[Mike]

"I couldn't just leave her to get crushed to death. Even if she was a coyote. It just wouldn't have been the right thing to do."

[snowstorm]

Risingfind smiled.
just promise to be more careful next time okay.
she squirmed a bit, she wanted to walk. She knew she was fine the bleeding had stopped and it wasn't much farther to camp.
Please let me down Eagletalon. she said gently smiling at him.

[Mike]

"Okay, okay, just stop squirming around up there. I don't want to drop you or something." said Eagletalon fondly. He gave her a grin as he slowed to a stop and crouched to the ground so she could get off.
