Raven, silently padded to the temporary pack camp. Her green eyes shone in the deep darkness that covered the forest, making the rest of her invisible. She was going to stay with the pack for a while till they moved next, lifting her black nose she sniffed the air and gave a fanged grin. Good place, she thought to herself as she moved slower and slowly swung her head from left to right. Her ears were pricked for any sound that could mean danger to her, luckily nothing sounded. Finally stopping for a moment the she-wolf licked her muzzle and once again scented the air looking for the pack.

Alphasmoke paddded through the woods curiously, looking around for something new. He loved adventure, even the bleakest of places always held something to amaze. His ears pricked up as he heard faint pawsteps. Wolf. He quickly followed the smell, trying not to be too loud in case he scared it off. He sniffed again. Female, too. Seemed to be looking for something..... maybe she was lost? He quickened his pace, straining to catch sight of her. Completly black, tooo, from what he could tell. He grew excited. A new member to the pack?

Stopping in mid-sniff Raven frozen slightly as a new scent crossed her nose. Dropping her head Raven turned, her ears were high and moving looking for a source of the smell. Her tail moved slightly as she took took a step forward. Can't be to much of a threat, she thought. Its not a fox, she was glad, though she was still interested. "Anyone there?", she asked, her ears far forward.

"Hi," Alphasmoke replied, padding forwards. He noticed the markings on her face. Tribe? They had passed animals like trhat on their way here, covered in spots and such. But she didn't seem to have as much as they did, and what would one of them be doing here? "What made you come here?" he asked curiously, swishing his tail. His observations ade him more hopeful, but not by much. She was probably lost, it seemed to fit her sitiuation more.

Raven, looked that the wolf in front of her. "I'm looking for the Delfi Pack", she said calmly with a flick of her ears and a swish of her tail. By the scent of the other wolf Raven could tell that he wasn't really a threat. "Are you part of it?", she asked her voice taking a interested tone as she looked the wolf up and down.

Delfi Pack!!!! Alphasmoke wagged his tail once. "I'm Alphasmoke," he greeted, introducing himself. He was able to start piecing together her story. Former Tribe, but kicked out or left? "Leader of the Pack. Were you wanting to join?" His eyes sparked with excitement, the same as when he discovered something new.

Raven's eyes widened slightly. Wow the alpha himself, she thought surprised. "My name is Raven, and yes I hoping to join your pack. If you don't mind", Raven answered warmly.

"No, no, of course not!" he replied friendly. A new member!!! Alot of the pack had scattered recently, why he didn't fully know. " Anyone is allowed to join!!! "He barked, happy. "Do you want me to show you the main, "camp"?" he asked curiously. Most of the animals he'd met wanted to know this first, though why he never understood. "No need to be shy," he added, as he noticed her eyes grow big. "Its just a position."

Raven, smiled at Alphasmokes excitement. Then answered his question. "Sure I'd like to check out the main camp", she said her eyes shining. looking up at the sky or what she could see of the sky and notice that the first colors of dawn were coming on slowly. Turning back to the alpha she gave her tail a wag. "Lead the way."

ooc; my siggie has alphasmoke, yours has raven, they're both talking to each othe in this post.............. almost like bringing it 3-d "Okay then.Follow me!" He set off into the trees, checking to make sure she followed. He wanted to run, to dash through the trees, but she would lose him then. The trees grew thicker, and the sun started to diminish as they went deeper into it. Finally they reached the clearing. There was a little bit of food in the middle, but besides that it was deserted. He padded forwards a bit, springy grass comforting his paws, and turned around. "Heres camp," he said, gesturing at the food pile.

o,o,c- Whoa, thats cool Lol
I.C- Looking around Raven loved it at once. Though it was deserted she still liked it, she was sure way but guessed it was because nobody knew her past. Turing to Alphasmoke she gave a grin. "This place is great", she said, a hint of gladness in her voice. "How many are in the pack?", Raven asked curious.

"Glad you like it!" he replied, glad at her excitement. This camp was more...... the last interesties he'd shown it to had left immediately. They'd complained about there not being any shelter......... just some food pile stuck in the middle. But what was the point? It was nice to be in open air, and it was only temporary, after a while they'd move on, explore some new places. That was the whole point of the pack; adventure. When he heard her question, he looked around. "Currently............ just three, counting you," he replied sheepishly, turning back to her. "We'd had lots more, but alot of them abandoned the pack when we came this way. I don't know why............." he looked down. Especially Shore. He'd been surprised when she backed off, she'd always been as adventurous as he.

Raven, shrugged her black shoulders. "I really don't mind the number", she said in a soft tone. Raven's tail swiped the springy grass in a wag. "How did you find this place?", she asked.

"Adventure," he replied, a glint entering his eyes. "Adventure and discovery." He swayed his tail, becomeing bored from staying still for so long.

Raven, noticed his movement. "How about a hunt?", she asked her paws kneading the ground. Raven watched Alphasmoke for a moment to hear his answer.

"Sure" He shrugged, an adventure was what he was really looking for at the moment, but a hunt would do. It might give him a chance to know this wolf better. "I'm sorry for not asking, but what's your name?'

Raven laughed softly. "Raven", she said simply. Lifting her nose to the air Raven checked for scents and found one. "Deer?", she asked as she lowered her head slowly.

Alphasmoke lifted his head. "Buck, probably. Surprising to see a deer in these parts, but who knows? It's probably lost." He quickened his pace, pawsteps light as ever, until he came to a small part in the bushses. There he saw the buck, looking around with its antlers raised proudly in the air. Keeping away from its sight range, he started to sneak around to it's other flank, not daring to speak in case it heard. "I'll go this way, you go that." His fur disappeared into the thick undergrowth, his eyes never leaving the deer.

Raven, nodded then went the way that Alphasmoke had told her. Slipping though the undergrowth Raven's eyes glittered as she stalked closer to the deer, her teeth flashed as she grinned to herself. Finally she stopped and waited for Alphasmokes sign to attack the deer. "This is great", she whispered, excited by the hunt.

The buck looked up, and Alphasmoke froze, startled as he stared at it in a scared concentration. "Don't speak," he carefully gestured with his body, relaxing as it went back to grazing. He picked his way through the beginnings of one of the bushes, hoping to get a closer start. He turned his icy gaze on her for a few seconds, before turning away. Flicking his tail, a sign to start, he tensed ready. The old buck looked up startled as the wolf appeared out of the bushes, raking it's claws along it's hide while trying to get a good grip.
