Scarletfind, sat at the edge of her den, over looking the tribes camp. Her brown eyes followed the flight of so bird, most likely a blue jay. It was a night cool morning, one that Scarletfind enjoyed very much for it was silent and peaceful. She was sorta glad that she was the only one up, she could hear the birds song. Its soothed her much, which meant her mood would be a good one today,

Starcub yawned, stumbling out of the nursery. The blinding sunlight hit her in a flash, and she blinked her eyes for a second before they got used to it. It was a nice cool day, and she saw a blue jay flit through the tree tops. She hobbled around curiously, climbing onto the rock next to Scarletfind. "How ar you today?" she asked, turning her head to her side.

Scarletfind, looked at Starcub and smiled.
"Good", she said warmly.
"And you?", Scarletfind really liked all the cubs and liked to make conversation with them.

"Good," she replied, looking at the surrounding scenery. Everything was turning colors, and lots of weird leaves kept floating to the ground, those were lots of fun. But some of the plants were turning brown and dissapearing, her mother said it was called dying. And it was also getting colder, a thing she had not yet experienced. Though today was a bit warm, she shook her head a bit as a small breeze whisped through. One of the leaves stirred, and she tried to claw at it, but missed as it skittered away.

Scarletfind, laughed at Starcub's attempt to catch the leaf. Pointing her snout to the sky Scarletfind let the warm day was over her.
"Interesting fall day", she remarked happily closing her eyes.

"Fall?' Starcub asked curiosly. So that was what they called it. Fall. It was a nice name, it suited all the leaves. "Where are all these leaves during the summer?"

Scarletfind,smiled at Starcub's innocent ignorance.
"On the trees, growing from the branches", Scarletfind said softly.
"Plus their green during the summer", she finished.

"Ooh," she replied, sniffing at the boulder as a pebble tumbled off. "Why do they change colors then? And why is it so cold?"

"Well, wouldn't it be rather boring to see the same thing every day", she said as she chose her words.

"You see the same thing all day in te summer," she replied, missing the rolling pebble as she tried to catch it.

thingying her head, Scarletfind thought for a moment.
"Thats true.", Scarletfind paused for a moments.
"But you'd never see white snow or fresh green spring, which are rather cool colors".

"Snow, and spring?" she repeated, finally sitting down as she looked up in a semi-thoughtful way. She'd never heard of these before, but they sounded fun too. "Okay!" She lost her balance and slipped off the small boulder, falling to the ground.

Scarletfind, jumped to all fours. She jumped off the boulder and next to Starcub.
"Are you ok?", she asked, a tinge of worry was in her voice.

Starcub, turned around, looking the leader curiously. 'Ah ha. O course I am." She smiled, poking a claw at a passing beetle.

Scarletfind shook her head. Sometimes cubs amazed her.
"Good", she said as she watched Starcub.

The beetle crawled onto her claw, and she quickly stumbled back, trying to shake it off in surprise. She instantly leaned back forwards again as she stared at it curiously. "What to yu call tat?'

Scarletfind, smiled as she gazed closely at the beetle.
"That is what we call Beetle", she answered.

"Beetle" Starcub repeated curiously, still staring at the bug. There weren't any of those in the summer. "When will I get to become a page?" She looked up from the bug, curious.

"In about 2 or three moons", Scarletfind said.

Starcub sat down, lost in thought. "Three," she finally pronounced after a couple of minutes. "Yep, three." Starcub swung back up, happy with her decision. "5 moons, right?"
