Eagletalon walked beside her, supporting her so she could keep her weight off her injured leg. His mind was whirling and going crazy inside with thoughts chasing each other and random emotions surfacing.

Stareyes supported her other side while occasionally making sure that the dog wasn't following.

Risingfind appreciated their help and kept walking the slow way to the camp. When they finally got there she laid down, unable to go much farther.

Stareyes gave her a branch to hold between her teeth as she set to work on her leg, running back and forth between Risingfind and her den.

Risingfind closed her eyes and relaxed, leaving the branch stareyes gave her in her mouth. She waited patiently.

Stareyes used her muzzle to find the bullet and gently pulled it out. She then placed healing salves on Risingfind's wound.

The stick broke in half with all the force Risingfind placed on it, but she refused to make any noise. When the pain subsided a little bit she took a deep breathe.
"Eagletalon, when she has it covered can you assist me to my den?"

Stareyes found them a hurried back, applying them to her wounds.

Eagletalon felt the conflicting emotions in his chest and decided to ignore them. He could figure out what he felt later. He had work to do now
