Stareyes breathed in, the scent of water and algae filling her nose from the water fall and pool. She lie down next to the pool, her paws sore from walking around finding herbs. Quietly she rested her head on her paws and fell into a deep slumber with the rush from the waterfall in her ears. In her dreaming mind, she was running through the forest, chasing down a rabbit.

Not too far away, that scene was being re-enacted. Eagletalon was pursuing a rabbit through scant bushes. He was drawing ever closer to the waterfall and was determined to kill the rabbit before it got there. Pouring on an extra burst of speed, Eagletalon leapt at it just as it reached the edge of the pool, pinning it and crushing its body.

Stareyes awoke, startled by the sound. "Hello," she said kindly.

Eagletalon looked up from the rabbit. "Hello Stareyes." he said. Eagletalon might have been the Head Knight, but he doubted the Seer actually knew who he was. He'd only been Head Knight for a moon or so.

"How are you today, Eagletalon?" she asked and stood, stretching out her limbs.
A little ways off Frosteyes was wandering through the forest, upon hearing them she decided to take a closer look.

"I'm doing well, thank you." he replied. "And how are you?" he asked in the course of politeness. I wonder if she's hungry. Eagletalon thought as he shifted from paw to paw. He usually wasn't this close to the Seer.

"I'm well enough," she replied.
Frosteyes looked into the clearing and saw it was only Eagletalon and Stareyes. She padded forward and joined them. "Morning, Stareyes, Eagletalon," she greeted and sat next to Stareyes.

"That's good." Eagletalon said, and watched the newcomer. For the life of him, he couldn't remember who he was. "Hello." was all he said. "Are you hungry?" he asked, gesturing to the uneaten rabbit.

"I'm not but thank you." Turning to Frosteyes her eyes slightly saddened but then they showed no sign of feeling at all.
"Sure," Frosteyes replied and she walked over to him.

"Go ahead. I don't mind. Rabbits are easy to find around these parts." said Eagletalon with a small grin. "You're saving me from carrying it back to camp." After waiting a couple seconds, he asked "Who are you? I don't remember your name."

"Frosteyes," she replied. "You sure you don't want anymore?"
Stareyes watched them calmly, her eyes showing nothing.

Eagletalon shook his head and offered the uneaten rabbit again. "That's the third one I caught today. I don't need any more. I was going to take it back to the camp, for whoever wanted it."

Stareyes stared into the waterfall blankly.

Eagletalon gave the seer a sidelong glance. Does she see something in the fall? he asked himself. Loathe to interrupt a Seer, he sat quietly and watched her.

Risingfind was padding along. She had decided to take a walk trough Howling Tribe Territory. She was feeling restless and that was never a good sign for her. She heard voices up ahead and walked towards them. She saw her Seer and Headknight. Along with another wolf.
"Hello Everyone." she said warmly walking up to them. "how are you all today?" she took a quick glance at Stareyes and wondered if she knew something.

Eagletalon bowed. "Hello, Risingfind." he said warmly. As far as he was concerned, the leader was always welcome wherever she wanted t obe, no matter what anybody else thought.

Eagletalon straightened and smiled back. "I'm feeling fine. What brings you out and about?" he asked in a friendly manner.

Risingfind lowered her eyes as she answered him.
"I just needed to go for a walk." she said trying to sound normal and calm. Then lifting her eyes smiled. "It's such a nice day so I decided why not"

"It is a nice day." he said, turning his head to look up at the blue sky and white clouds whisking by. "Sometimes you start feeling so restrained that you have to get away from it all for a while."
