Trouble

With a lot of effort, Eagletalon opened his eyes and looked at her. "You're just in time."

[snowstorm]

Risingfind watched patiently, just praying Stareyes could help him.
"Please" she murmured.

[Mystic]

"Can you eat the poppy seeds?" she asked him. "It will help with the pain."

[snowstorm]

ooc: i cant think of anything for Risingfind to do!

ic: "Please eat them" she said to him.

[Mike]

Eagletalon chewed the poppy seeds. "I still don't like the taste of these things." he said, trying to make a joke.

[Mystic]

Stareyes nodded and went back to his leg, she waited for a couple more minutes so he could digest the poppy seeds before pushing his leg back into place. "Petalpage, can you get me some more cobwebs?" she asked, knowing her name since the seers always met at half-moon.

[Dogsrock!!]

Petalpage scoooted back nervously, giving the wolf room as she watched with a worried look. She hoped that the wrapping would be enough to bring him back to their camp, if that was what they planned to do. It would be crazy trying to operate on the cliffs.

High up on the plateau, Slashingtalon pounded to the edge of the cliffside, hearing all the comotion. An intruder? He spotted Petalpage among them, and his hair raised as he growled. What was she doing? He whipped around, dashing to the nearest cliffside tunnel.

[Mike]

Eagletalon sniffed carefully. "Somebody else is on the way. Smells like coyote." he gasped quietly. The poppy seeds were starting to take effect.

[Dogsrock!!]

Coyote?! Petalpage's hair raised abit, in alarm and guilt. Slashingtalon. She was going to get the lecture of her life after this one. She tucked her tail underneath her shamefully, hoping none of the other wolves noticed too much.

Slashingtalon reached the entrance to one, and slid into it. These tunnels weren't built for speed, he'd have to be careful. At least the tunnel didnt come out right in front of them, it ended moreso on the side of the plateau. Didn't she realize the sake of the tribe relyed on her?!

[snowstorm]

Risingfind sniffed the air and growled. She jumped to the side the scent came from and bared her teeth.
"Whose there." she growled.

[Mystic]

Stareyes finished and put more cobwebs on his leg. "It should heal within a month or so," she told Eagletalon, ignoring the commotion around them.

[Mike]

Unsteadily, he got to his feet. Swaying slightly, he leaned against the cliff. He toot a deep breath and turned towards the tunnel, ready to fight.

[snowstorm]

Risingfind turned and looked back. She rushed beside Eagletalon.
"Don't," she said. "Just head back down the cliff with Stareyes I will be there in a moment."

[Mystic]

"Eagletalon, she's right. Come along," Stareyes told him.

[snowstorm]

She nuzzled him and smiled at him reasuringly.
"Nothing is going to happen." she said. She licked his cheek and looked at Stareyes.
"I won't be long and I will help you get him back."

[Mike]

Eagletalon shook his head. "I'm not leaving you up here alone to deal with this."

[snowstorm]

Risingfind looked at him desperate now.
"Eagletalon please." she tried to reason with him. "Its nothing, just another cyote I can handle it."

[Mystic]

"I'll take you down then come back up, Eagletalon," she told him. "You need to get down."

[Mike]

"I'm sorry for disobeying, but I won'tleave you."

[Dogsrock!!]

Petalpage nudged him gently, telling him to go with the seer. He would have enough trouble even trying to get to camp, and their seer would need to help him walk the whole way. In this condition, he couldn't even stand by himself, much less fight. She wondered why all the wolves were bristling, but it made her shrink back like before. She was the only coyote around, Slashingtalon had been way up on the cliffs, on his territory. Technically this was her territory too, all the cliffs were, but the other tribes owned all the land surrounding, right at the end of the cliff bottoms.

Slashingtalon faintly sensed hostility, and tried to pick up his pace, though he was going as fast as possible. He wasnt even halfway through the tunnel yet, and she'd already gotten in more trouble. He steamed in anger, she was endangering the whole tribe with this. She would get punished, all right, once he brought to the leader. That is, before those wolves tore her apart.
