'Eagleton." she muttered shaking her head. "Could you not tell by her expression when you mentioned Howling Tribe that she had no idea she was even in it." she asked looking up at him. "Leave her be, if she comes back I'll let you deal with her."

Eagletalon winced. He hadn't really been paying attention to her facial expressions, just the fact that she was in his territory. Reluctantly, he began climbing back down the cliff, casting a baleful glare at the coyote on the cliff.

((Its k)) Casting one last glance at the trembling coyote, one that said 'I better not catch you on our territory again', Eagletalon turned his eyes back to his leader and nodded. "Why not." he said. "We could always use more food."

Eagletalon wasn't able to keep up with her after the long chase he had just had with the coyote. He started slowing down almost immediately until he went at a decently fast, steady pace.

Risingfind slowed down making her pace even with his. Then catching the scent of a rabbit darted off to her left. She followed the scent and slowed when she caught sight of her prey. Lowering to the ground she took a quick breather then darted at it catching it instantly.

Eagletalon had noted a second rabbit, but it was standing stock-still. Pretending he didn't notice it, he walked right past it, then spun around and killed it.

Turning around just to make sure he wasnt following, Petalpage quickly started scrambling up the deep cliffsides, eager to make the journey as quick as possible. Before nightfallif that was even possible. All of a sudden a boulder gave way under feet, and she yelped in terror as she tumbled down the slope, the rocks bouncing around her as she franticly struggled to regain her footing. One of the larger stones hit her leg as she yelped in pain. If she couldn't regain her balance soon...............

Eagletalon smiled nervously and said "It's a very ni-" he stopped as he thingyed his head and flicked his ear towards the cliff. An ominous rumbling sound filled the air. "Rock slide!" he yelped as he dashed back towards the cliff. Even though the coyote wasn't one of his own, a rock slide was a bad way to die.

Petalpage felt something latch on to her in midair, jerking to a halt as she clambered onto the rocks. She looked at Eagletalon surprised he rescued her. All of a sudden the boulder crashed down, and she squeaked in surprise, wincing away at the loud crack. She sniffed his leg worriedly, before yapping at Risingfind to help her bring him down. She touched it gently, pulling her paw back as a spasm of pain shot through it. Broken leg. She yapped again, louder this time.

Eagletalon opened his eyes weakly. "Risingfind..." was all he managed before his voice tarailed off into a whimper of pain. The leg was obviously broken cleanly, but it still caused massive waves of pain. It was all Eagletalon could do to keep himself to wquiet whimpers. blood pulsing from the wound. Bone protruded from the skin.

Petalpage nudged her nose in the direction of the wolf's leg, careful not to touch it so he didnt get hurt worse. That was the first rule of a seer, even though she hadn't learned much from her mentor so far. She fluffed up slightly in a warning way as Risingfind got closer to him, not in an intimidating way but enough to tell her to be careful. She quickly looked around for something to stop th bleeding with. She usually used prairie grass, but there wasn't any on the cliffs so she settled for some cobwebs. She picked up extra careful, as to not break them, and gently sealed them around his wound. He could feel his painful spasms, but this should help a tiny bit until their seergot here.

((Medicine cat? Warriors on the mind?))
Eagletalon whined in pain. The blood loss was causiing his vision to fail. He was dimmly aware of the coyote working on his leg. But it didn't seem all that important any more. Nothing felt important anymore...
