This is an idea I had for the site history and possibly plot;
The tribe animals used to be scattered with no particular territories or relationships. The wolves could only understand the coyotes, and the only ones that could understand the badgers were the beavers. And none could understand the fox. Because of this communication lack, many fights broke out among the animals. Suddenly the prey started disappearing, and the animals sensed danger in the air. Though they knew they should leave, they were too stubborn to give up their territories. Then a ball of fire appeared in the sky. The animals tried to run, but by then it was too late. The meteorite hit, and the dust clogged the air as it shattered at impact, destroying the land around it and killing most of the remaining animals. Except for a few. Leaf the fox cub, Sun the wolf cub, Star the badger cub, and Slash the coyote cub, after searching through the rubble, found each other. The crater had given them all strange colored markings on their fur, and the cubs were shocked to discover that they could understand what each other were saying clearly. They agreed to meet where the star had crashed. When they got there, they found that in the middle of the crater stood a lone sequoia, the only thing in the region that hadn't been destroyed. At the base was a large hole, like an entrance, an the inside was burned hollow, with shelves sticking from the inside walls being the only part left. There also was a young beaver cub, their same age, who had strayed there looking for his parents. Since the river was farther away, he didn't have as many markings nor could they understand him as well (that is, except for Star). The cubs spirits suddenly visited them, and christened them pages, teaching the 4 the skills they would have learned, and helping them find the few remaining animals left from the incident. Leafpage became Leaffind, and decided that the fox she found, Fall, would be renamed Starfall in honor of the accident that changed them,and would be her adviser and helper in building the tribe. Sunfind made his adviser Doveflight, Starfind made her adviser Burntbranch, and the coyote, now Slashingfind, made his adviser Longtooth, named for his unusually long canines. The plants grew back, the river became full of water for the beavers, and the 4 tribes flourished. But now, 80 seasons later, the tribes are once again in conflict. As tensions rise, and accusations are hurled in the dark, the dawn is coming, but will it bring peace, or will war break out and the tribes disintegrate?
So, what do you guys think?
