Explanation
There are four tribes, each with different animals and territories. Howling Tribe belongs to the wolves, who live in the forest, Striped Tribe belongs to the badgers, who live in the caves , Yapping Tribe belongs to the coyotes, who live in the plains, and Joking Tribe belonging to the foxes, who live near the marshes. There is also a beaver cult that live in the river alongside Howling Tribe's and Yapping Tribe's borders, named River Sticks. In the woods behind Joking Tribe's territory is the traveling Delfi Pack, which consists of wolves, stray dogs and former softies, which abandoned the twoleg life for adventure. A couple of miles away from the tribes there is a twoleg town, in which many softy cats and dogs live. And in between all these there are the loners and strays, those who choose neither the tribe of twoleg life, but wander on their own.
Tribal Markings
Each tribe has it's own special markings, just as each individual animal does. Howling Tribe's are three purple stripes on each side of their nose, a red left ear, blue pads on their front left paw, and a green stripe down their back. Striped Tribe has green claws, a blue spot on their back, a purple streak right above their right eye, and a wide orange streak running down their tail. Yapping Tribe has a yellow band around the neck, a pink patch around their left eye, a green wavy line on each side of their pelts, and a blue tail tip. Joking Tribe has a red stripe underneath each ear, a purple nose, a green front right paw, and a blue ring around their tail. In River Sticks, have a circle around their head with dots underneath it, colors varying, and the tanji always has a cream front paw. In Howling Tribe, pages have one stripe on each side, and knights have three. Striped Tribe gives you green claws as a page, and the purple streak as a knight. In Yapping Tribe, they have half a yellow ring around their neck, waiting until they're knights before getting a full one. Joking Tribe gives one stripe for page, two for knight. River Sticks waits until fully trained before giving you the head ring. In the tribes, the seers get a red dot on their nose.
