You are sitting in your favorite comfotable arm chair curled up , reading a good book the only sound that could be heard is the soft *crackling* of the fireplace every now & again your eyes drift to the window watching the snow softy falling outside it's been a long hard day seeing it is {Christmas} & all, so you relax in enjoying the peace & qiuet that you are given at the moment .
