Mystic lied her head down on his paws tiredly, she closed her eyes and was soon asleep.

Scarclaw was about to say something when he noticed that she had fallen asleep. Quietly, he curled up and fell into a deep sleep of his own.

Scarclaw woke and yawned, uncurling from his ball and stretching when the unfamilar scent hit his nose. He froze for a second, then realized that it was the she-wolf he had met yesterday. He glanced at her and left, looking for some breakfast.

Mystic awoke when the cold reached the side he had been on. Where am I...oh, she thought to herself. "Scarclaw?" she called when she didn't see him and shrugged. Must've gone hunting. She exited the cave to wander the forest.

Scarclaw came bounding back, his jaws clamped on several rabbits. His heart plummeted through his body. She was gone. He dropped the rabbits next to his sleeping spot. He staggered out of the cave and started sniffing around, trying to catch her scent.

Mystic walked around calmly, not really paying attention when her foot got caught in a trap. She yelped in pain. "Ow!" she exclaimed.

Scarclaw pricked his ears at the sound of her yelp. His pace picking up as he followed her scent and sound. he saw her stuck in a trap How did a human get in here to set that trap? was his first thought, and Is she okay? was his second

Scarclaw delicately reached down and pressed what looked like a small lever. The trap opened slightly. He pushed harder, trying to get it opened further.

When the trap had opened enough, Mystic pulled her paw out of it quickly and leaped away from it. She lied down and began tending to her wound.

Scarclaw growled at the trap lying on the ground, its steel jaws clamped shut after he released the the lever. "I'm going to find the human that did that, and he's going to pay."
